Official Rules – “Holiday Trading Challenge” Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. THIS IS A SKILL-BASED COMPETITION; CHANCE PLAYS NO PART IN DETERMINING WINNERS.

1. Sponsor

The Holiday Trading Challenge Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Monument Traders Alliance, LLC, 105 W. MONUMENT ST. BALTIMORE, MD 21201 (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. Void in FL, NY, RI, and any jurisidiction that requires registration, bonding, or notice for skill contests.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins at market open at 9:30 AM Eastern Time on December 17th, 2025 and ends when the market closes on December 19, 2025 at 4 P.M. Eastern Time on (“Contest Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.

4. How to Enter

To enter, visit https://app.tradersbattleground.com/ during the Contest Period and complete the registration form. Each eligible participant will be granted access to the paper-trading simulator platform (“Platform”). Participation is free of charge, and no purchase or payment of any kind is required. Participants must use only the virtual funds and trading tools provided within the Platform.

5. Contest Objective and Scoring

Each entrant will begin with an equal amount of simulated trading capital and will attempt to achieve the highest total return during the Contest Period by executing simulated trades. The winner will be the eligible entrant whose simulated portfolio achieves the highest net return percentage as recorded by the Platform. Only trades executed within the designated paper-trading Platform will count toward contest scoring and prize eligibility. Real-money trading accounts are not eligible for contest scoring. All entries will be subject to verification based on Platform data logs. Sponsor does not guarantee continuous or error-free operation of the Platform, and assumes no responsibility for interruptions, delays, or inaccuracies beyond its control.

Tie-Breakers. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the fewest number of losing trades during the Contest Period. A “losing trade” is any closed trade with negative P&L as recorded by the Platform. If a tie still remains, the winner will be the entrant whose final portfolio has the lowest volatility as measured by the Platform using the standard deviation of 1-minute marked-to-market returns over the Contest Period as computed by the Platform. If still tied, Sponsor will apply an additional objective metric published on the leaderboard or award the higher place by earliest account creation time. Under no circumstances will any random or chance-based method be used to determine a winner.

Eligible Instruments; Trading Rules. Only instruments enabled within the Platform may be traded. Buying power, commissions, margin, short sales, options permissions, order types, after-hours trading, and any other mechanics are those configured by Sponsor on the Platform and apply equally to all entrants. All positions must be opened and closed within the Contest Period; any open positions at 4:00 PM ET on December 19, 2025 will be marked-to-market by the Platform and included in final P&L. Corporate actions, dividends, and interest are treated per Platform settings.

Finality of Data. All Platform price data, time stamps, fills, and P&L calculations are final and binding for scoring. Sponsor is not responsible for data lags, outages, slippage, rejected orders, or other technical issues.

Prohibited Conduct. Multi-accounting, collusion, coordinated trading, use of bots/automation or scripts, or any attempt to manipulate Platform data or leaderboard is prohibited and grounds for disqualification in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. VIP Component

A separate “VIP Access” track may be offered, providing optional educational content or training sessions. Participation in VIP programming is not required and does not affect or enhance a participant’s chances of winning. All contest scoring, judging criteria, Platform settings, and prize eligibility are identical for all entrants.

No purchase or payment of any kind is required to participate in the Contest. Purchasing VIP access does not provide any advantage, additional data, special Platform permissions, or access that affects the outcome, odds of winning, or contest performance.

7. Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize: $2,500 USD cash plus access to the Monument Traders Alliance Inner Circle (access to all of Monument Traders Alliance services). Cash portion awarded in the form of a check or electronic transfer. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $33,250.

One (1) 2nd Place Prize: $1,500 USD cash plus access to Nate Bear’s Daily Profits Live, Daily Profit Scanner and Profit Surge Trader services. Cash portion awarded in the form of a check or electronic transfer. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $13,497.

One (1) 3rd Place Prize: $1,000 USD cash plus access to Daily Profit Scanner. Cash portion awarded in the form of a check or electronic transfer. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $7,000.

One (1) 4th Place Prize: Two years’ access to Nate Bear’s Profit Surge Trader service. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,994.

One (1) 5th Place Prize: One year’s access to Nate Bear’s Profit Surge Trader service. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $997.

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and must complete and return IRS Form W-9. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the value of the prize. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible participants and their relative performance in the Contest.

General Prize Terms. Prizes are awarded “as is,” without warranty. No cash alternative for non-cash portions unless Sponsor elects otherwise. Winners are responsible for all taxes, fees, and expenses not expressly stated. Sponsor may substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with one of equal or greater ARV if unavailable.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

The winners will be announced shortly after market closes at 4pm ET on December 19th via a LIVE session and officially notified via the email address used for entry within seven (7) days after the Contest Period. The potential winner must respond and complete all required documentation (including eligibility affidavit and W-9) within five (5) business days or the prize may be forfeited. If a potential winner is disqualified, the prize will be awarded to the next-highest scoring eligible entrant.

Potential winners may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, IRS Form W-9, and valid government-issued photo ID within five (5) business days of notice. Failure to timely return documents or proof of eligibility/residency will result in disqualification and award to the next-highest scoring eligible entrant.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who manipulates or attempts to manipulate the contest software, creates multiple accounts, or engages in any form of cheating or unfair practice. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs its integrity or proper functioning, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding.

Force Majeure / Right to Modify. If fraud, technical failure, market halts or disruption/limit-down states, force majeure, or any event beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest and, if terminated, determine winners from eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the date of termination using the stated scoring criteria.

10. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, winner grants Sponsor and its affiliates the right to use winner’s name, likeness, and city/state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, or approval, except where prohibited by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree that Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or relating to participation in this Contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. In no event shall Sponsor be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Contest. Entrants acknowledge trading involves risk and agree Sponsor is not liable for trading losses, market movements, or decisions made in reliance on educational content. Platform Provider Disclaimer. The Platform is operated by an independent third party; Sponsor and the Platform provider and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents are not responsible for and shall not be liable for technical errors, service interruptions, or data inaccuracies.

No statements made during the Contest, including live sessions, commentary, educational materials, or chat communications, should be construed as recommendations or advice. All information is for educational purposes only and does not constitute individualized investment advice. Participants are solely responsible for any personal trading decisions made outside of the Platform.

12. Disputes / Governing Law

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Class Action Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Baltimore, Maryland. Sponsor may elect to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, at its sole discretion. Participants knowingly and expressly waive any right to a trial by jury.

13. Privacy

Information collected from participants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy available at https://monumenttradersalliance.com/privacy-policy/. Participant data may be used to administer the Contest and to communicate with entrants regarding Sponsor’s products and services, subject to applicable opt-out rights. By entering, you consent to receive administrative emails regarding the Contest. Marketing emails are sent in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and applicable opt-out rights; providing consent is not a condition of entry.

14. Winners List

To obtain the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Monument Traders Alliance, LLC – Holiday Trading Challenge Winner Request, 105 W. MONUMENT ST. BALTIMORE, MD 21201. Requests must be received within 60 days after the Contest Period ends.
